Neto closing in on personal clean sheet record

Goalkeeper Neto's solidity between the sticks has been one of the big factors in Valencia CF's success this season, and the Brazilian stopper is still in with a chance of setting a new personal record before the end of the campaign.
His clean sheet against Villarreal CF this past Thursday was his 14th of the season, whilst his best ever is 16 when playing for Fiorentina in 2013/14.
Letting in less than a goal a game on average (one every 105 minutes), Neto is enjoying his most consistent year to date. He previously averaged a goal conceded per 134 minutes in 2016/17, at Juventus, although there he only played 1,214 minutes.
With games remaining in all competitions in 2018/19, the VCF goalkeeper has every possibility of adding to his tally. His next challenge comes against Real Betis on Sunday night (8:45pm CET).
